“ Strike Out… Against Childhood Hunger”
To provide infants and children in need with food by creating programs that generate donations to address childhood hunger. Hunger, especially in children, can be an invisible problem. It exists but some children are too small to verbalize their need. Drawing attention to the issue will create awareness and more eyes to seek out those who need our help.
- Design and implement a program that will educate the community on the issues of childhood hunger and generate donations of cash, food and nutritional supplements for infants and children.
- Provide education to parents on proper nutrition along with information on budgeting, food shopping, recipes and other tools to aid them in keeping their children healthy.
- Develop partnerships with other entities that have a vested interest in children and nutritional health.
